Allie Caps is based out of two homes: Wolfeboro, NH and Killington, VT.
Our founder, Allie, learned how to sew and knit from her mom at her hometown in Potsdam, NY.
Through her college years, she knit on long bus rides to hockey games, and this passion grew as she started customizing trucker hats in 2015 while traveling around the country to see her favorite band, Phish. A couple summers later, she opened her first Etsy shop, “Allie Caps”, and soon thereafter, it became an official business. Since then, what started as sewing trucker hats has expanded into hand knitting winter beanies.
We pride ourselves on a brand that is fully customizable, making each hat unique from the other. Every hat and beanie is hand sewn and knit by women in the USA.
